INFOSEC - Learning Week Log 9 - 10

In the previous week, we have been given a topic for a group debate, and we got the CyberSex topic. Our group side was to make CyberSex legal only if it had a consent and involved a non-minor people, so we have done some research about it and we took note of the important things about CyberSex that were relevant for our debate. I was the one who made the Powerpoint slide. Fortunately, the debate went well and Sir Justin seemed to agree with our side because our arguments were based on facts and only facts.

The opposing team's arguments were not that powerful to outdo us because their arguments were not that pretty related to what they should debate on, which was CyberSex; they talked about discrimination and the decrease of women's dignity, not only women use CyberSex, even other genders as well, and their argument even said that CyberSex was similar to drug addiction, which seemed to be pretty far-off to CyberSex.

Now there was this opensource firewall computer software distribution called pfSense which was we were supposed to configure and present.  We were encountering a minor problem with the software, and our computers could not make to software fully run because it could not detect our network card which caused a missing LAN IP. Luckily, Justin Parado was able to fix the problem by using other compatible external network adapter. Actually, Justin Parado did all the work because only he had the software running and was able to easily configure it.
