INFOSEC - Learning Week 11 - 12
In this week's lecture, we tackled about physical security. Physical threats are what we also need to be careful about because it can do more harm than network security threats, but thankfully there are various ways that can prevent or somehow minimize its damage. Physical threats comes in different types; it can be caused by a natural disaster, a broken infrastructure or malicious destruction. We must focus not only on the safety of our infrastructure, but also on our lives. It is better to run for lives, when there an unstoppable physical threat. We also tackled about network domains and firewalls. Firewalls are very essential for a network, because those act like doorways with security guards. A Firewall inspects and monitors every network traffic that comes in, and it protects us from getting hacked.
